Bookcovers
Personal Projects
Bookcovers were actually what brought me to graphic design. At the time I started, my goal was to create the most perfect, aesthetically beautiful cover for my story. All of the bookcovers shown here are personal projects.

01
The Professor's Equation
This was my favorite project to work on. I stayed with the basic shades: black, white and grey and numbers to represent the "math" concept in the cover. The story was also my in my favorites of all time - The Professor's Equation. It is a heartwarming tale of human relationships and love in our lives.
02
Phenolphthalein
This is a rather experimental project. It was constructed based on the "collage" idea. Phenolphthalein is a chemical acid that turns pink in certain condition, thus the color palette.

03
Wine, Candle and Flower
This was a fun project, one which really test my typography thinking. I stayed with the red and black color palette and used a corresponding image for the theme: wine and flower.
04
Yoichi
This was a simple and clean one. Since it was a Wattpad commission, I decided to go minimal with it to really express that spirit from the character, Yoichi.
